It seems like every single day new measures are being taken to ‘flatten the curve’ in regards to COVID-19. Today I am announcing the closure of my business for the time being so that I can play my part in this as well.
Today is the first day of a new decade! I hope that everyone has had a lovely and safe holidays thus far — with LOTS of delicious food (holidays are the best aren’t they?) The start of a new year tends to bring about change for a lot of people; here is what’s going to be the biggest one for myself and Precision Therapeutics over the coming months:
At the end of February I am moving from my centrally located apartment downtown and moving up to my new home on the north side of the city! It is roughly where 127 Street meets the Henday; AKA the great white north but close-ish towards the St. Albert side.
Your body is made up of about 70-80% water content at birth, and can be measured at around 50% in senior populations. Depending on your body size and exertion level, it is often averaged for the majority of adults as 60%.
Suffice it to say that staying hydrated is indeed important to keep your body regulated and balanced. Haven’t we all heard about drinking eight glasses of water each day? Maybe more?
I tell people after almost every treatment to drink an extra glass of water when they get home, if not immediately after their massage. So where does this recommendation come from? Does it have to be water specifically or can it be coffee? Wine? You have questions and I have answers!
